Short Films From Workshops

Today or I should say yesterday I had the great opportunity to teach Joleen Giefer from Minnesota. Who flew in to learn from me with our private CinematicWorkshop. We had a great time full of a lot of laughs. For being one of her first videos to film ever she did an amazing job! This short piece is mainly shot by Joleen and a few of my shots mixed in. With over 14 hours of teaching it was a full and busy day! We filmed and edited this entire piece together! Shot on a Canon 5d Mark II and a Canon 7d.

This short highlight was filmed by Mary & Jessie, two sisters from Indianapolis who came to a private CinematicWorkshop here at cinematicbride. We then came back to the studio and edited till 1:00am. They both did an excellent job for being their first time shooting a video! This workshop lasted over 16 HOURS of intense training! Thanks Mary & Jessie for coming to Louisiana for a workshop! Also thanks to Brandi Howard our stylist and our model Christa! Editing & Teaching By Joshua Smith of CinematicBride

Last week I got to teach Heather Ahrens from Orlando, Florida. We had an awesome time doing a couples shoot! Everything you see was filmed by Heather on the Canon 7d & 5d Mark II! Plus she did almost the whole edit! Heather is a REALLY fast learner! She did an awesome job and will do well expanding her business to do video on-top of her already awesome photography work!
